Senior Friendship Group

The Senior Friendship Group meet every Friday and do a range of activities from Bingo to Morning Tea to Lunch. If you would like to join this group or have any queries please phone (07) 4957 2626

World Café

World Café is a free culture-sharing group which meets every Tuesday (between February and November) from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. Activities include cooking, art and craft, conversational games;  small projects, workshops, information sessions and local excursions. World Café meets at 4 George Street (the Annex).

Multicultural Women’s Club

Multicultural Women’s Club is a free social group for culturally and linguistically diverse women of Mackay to connect, support each other, build confidence and learn new skills. The Club provides information sessions on a variety of topics from women’s health and skills for getting employment to art and craft workshops and social outings.

The Club meets every Friday, 10am – 12pm at Mackay Women’s Centre, 418 Shakespeare street.

Prep-Ready Kids

The Prep-Ready Kids Program is part of the Multicultural Community Program and is run at The Neighbourhood Hub every Monday from 9.15 am to 11 am (during school term). It is designed for families with kids aged between 2-5 and focuses on helping parents help their under 5’s develop essential skill sets to set them up for prep-school.
