The Neighbourhood Hub provides facilities, activities and events to promote the sharing of cultures, development of friendships, and a connected community.
Engages older adults in creative and social activities as well as provide opportunities for participants to learn new skill and connect with others.
Weekly activities held every Friday morning at the 4 George Street Centre.
The Neighbourhood Hub Multicultural Community Program is a part of the Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) network. This network of multicultural community workers undertake systemic and group advocacy and community capacity-building activities for the benefit of Queenslanders from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds (CALD) delivering and strengthening community connectedness across the state.
World Café is a free culture sharing group which meets monthly at locations around the Mackay region.
A space located at the 4 George Street Centre where community members can access essential services and support in a flexible, accessible, and safe environment.
Held every Wednesday morning starting at 10 am this is a FREE event where community members can access a meal, collect food donations, connect with other local Mackay community members as well as receive assistance and support from the TNHub team.
Knowing Your Neighbour is always important, especially in times of disaster or if there is an emergency.
